Help design and ship the next version of Modelfindr and our cross-site tools. This is hands-on, portfolio-first now; paid roles and equity as we scale.

Transparency first: ObsidianSignal is an independent startup in early build mode. We are not venture-funded (yet). Current collaborations are portfolio-based with public credit and future upside. As revenue grows, early contributors get first access to paid roles, retainers, and equity conversations.

Why this exists (and why now)

Modelfindr isn’t another directory — it’s the search and analytics layer for live cams. We map platforms, publish real stats, and defend creators with a public DMCA ledger. Paxum payouts are live, rewards are rolling out, and traffic is climbing. Now we need a UI facelift and design systems that match the ambition.

What you’ll work on (initial sprints)

  • Modelfindr (primary): neon-modern 80s vibe, badges, tiers, leaderboards, model cards, pagination, empty states, onboarding flows.
  • Rewards UX: “earn → verify → cash out” clarity; Paxum flow; in-product milestone toasts; shareable achievements.
  • DMCA & Transparency: ObsidianSignal’s Abuse Ledger table design, filters, evidence modals, policy pages.
  • Privacy Tools: light-weight pages for VPN/OP recommendations and best-practice guides (conversion-friendly, not spammy).
  • Press & Blog: landing components, article layout, nav patterns, and a simple typography system across sites.

What you’ll get

  • Portfolio-grade work shipped to production across multiple live properties (Modelfindr + ObsidianSignal + satellites).
  • Public credit on pages and Git/CHANGELOG; optional case study co-authorship.
  • First in line for paid engagements, retainers, or equity talks as revenue scales.
  • Real autonomy: you’ll shape the design language, not just color the wires.

We’re remote-friendly, async, and outcome-driven. No time-wasting meetings.

Who you are

  • Product/UI or brand designer who can take a page from wireframe → polished component.
  • Comfortable with systems: tokens, grids, spacing, typography, dark-mode legibility.
  • Sees the difference between “cool” and convertible (clarity, speed, trust).
  • Okay with adult-adjacent themes (TOS-safe, no explicit assets).

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic HTML/CSS familiarity (we ship quickly).
  • Experience with data tables, charts, or dashboards.
  • Motion sensibility for tasteful micro-interactions.

How we’ll work together

  • Scope a sprint: pick 1–2 high-impact surfaces (e.g., model card set + empty states).
  • Design: Figma (or your tool). We iterate fast with annotated screenshots.
  • Handoff: components + tokens + usage notes; we wire into code together.
  • Ship: we test, release, and credit you on the changelog and page footer if applicable.

Is this paid?

Right now it’s portfolio-based with public credit. We already process payouts (ads + partners via Paxum). As revenue scales, early collaborators get first access to paid roles.

Time commitment?

Flexible. Start with a scoped sprint (e.g., 10–15 hours) and expand if it’s a fit.

Remote?

Yes. Async by default. We keep docs tight and feedback fast.

Adult content?

We’re NSFW-adjacent, TOS-safe. No explicit assets in design files; live sites blur by default and route to partner platforms.

Where your work lands
